HIT Solutions

Notifi resolves many of the communication challenges both within and outside the walls of the healthcare enterprise. Notifi filters all incoming information to identify what is important, organizes it in a way that is immediately understood, prioritizes delivery based on criticality, distributes it based on receiver preferences and validates receipt of the information when required.

Filter

Notifi uses customer-defined pattern matching and rules-based duplicate checking to automatically process all incoming transactions to determine which transactions qualify for notification processing. This filtering can be driven by a combination of current and historical transaction data, based on a number of factors including patient history, results pattern matching and diagnosis parameters, allowing Notifi to handle very complex care conditions.

Organize

Notifi allows information to be formatted, classified and grouped in a variety of ways depending on criticality, device, source, receiver and other criteria. Notifi also includes user-defined work lists that give customers the ability to organize information for individuals and groups based on the data content.

Prioritize

Notifi's rules-based processing enables users to consistently adhere to established policies that determine which information requires immediate delivery and response, which requires near-term follow up and which is delivered as informational-only notifications.

Distribute

Notifi delivers the required information based on the receiver's communication and device preferences. These preferences allow information to be delivered to different devices depending on time of day and supports redirecting delivery to alternative receivers at specified times of unavailability. Information is distributed via a variety of methods including email, FAX, SMS text, telephone, Vocera device, pager, and other mobile devices.

Validate

Notifi supports a robust acknowledgement process to ensure that information is delivered and received when closed-loop communications are required. The integrated read-back process, for example, insures that critical lab results delivered by phone comply with CAP guidelines. Multi-level escalation processes automatically identify and contact alternative receivers until information is successfully delivered and acknowledged by a care provider who can take the appropriate patient care action.
