F. Joseph D’Andrea

F. Joseph D’Andrea over 30 years has demonstrated success as an Executive Sales and Management Professional in the high technology and software industries. During his career, Mr. D’Andrea has been effective in helping technology companies achieve sales growth, resulting in successful exit strategies.

Currently, Mr. D’Andrea is a partner at Fina Technology Group (FTG), an outsourced Executive Sales and Management company that is instrumental in guiding emerging growth and start-up software and technology companies through all phases of growth, from early stage, acquisition of funding and exit strategies.

Prior to joining FTG, Mr. D’Andrea served as an investor and General Manager of Brandywine Granite & Tile LLC from September 2005 through April 2007. In this capacity, he steered the operations through the start up phase and facilitated the company’s growth to more than $2M in revenue in an 18 month period before its acquisition in April 2007. Most notably, Mr. D’Andrea introduced a state-of-the-art seamless technology approach to granite countertop fabrication to be more competitive in the marketplace and expedite customers’ installation time while increasing quality. Additionally, he implemented a comprehensive internal financial system to effectively manage vendor accounts and cash flow.

For the period January 2001 through October 2003, Mr. D’Andrea was acting CEO and an investor for Diamond IP, a start-up software company and developer of ImageControl, which became the market-leading firmware management solution for Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) based devices deployed by major cable operators and multiple service operators (MSOs) worldwide. Mr. D’Andrea led the complex sales initiative to close Comcast and Time Warner as preferred customers. As a result of the Management Teams efforts and guidance, Diamond IP was acquired by INS in 18 months.

From 1993 to 1998, Mr. D’Andrea was Co-founder of Quadritek Systems, a start-up software company and developer of their flagship product, QIP, a leading network administration product used by businesses and internet service providers that automate the process of assigning and authenticating IP addresses. As a Co-Founder, Mr. D’Andrea spearheaded the entire sales function and, as a result of consistent sales growth, he was promoted to President & CEO in early 1995 to lead the company through their continued growth. Under his leadership, Mr. D’Andrea secured VC funding, and managed the rapid sales increase of more than 300 percent in one year, with expansion both nationally and internationally. As a result of this success, Lucent acquired Quadritek in October 1998 and Mr. D’Andrea served as VP & General Manager for Lucent’s IPSPG Division until October 2000. During his tenure with Lucent, Mr. D’Andrea successfully managed several lines of business and expanded revenues to more than $100M.

Prior to forming Quadritek, Mr. D’Andrea served as Regional Director of Sales at Apertus Technologies, a manufacturer of TCP/IP to mainframe gateway products. In this capacity, he led the growth of their telecommunications strategy sales programs to revenues in excess of $100M.
